Susan Viccars Welcomes You

After a successful and fulfilling career as a teacher in the public school system, I realized that I had the opportunity to be a creative learner for the rest of my life. I became involved in  acting and modelling 15 years ago. I've had roles in national and regional commercial and print projects, as well as some smaller opportunities in film and television.

Visual art has always been part of who I am, I'm fortunate to have a detached home studio. I try to spend regular time there using acrylic paint and water color to show the real and imagined world. For the past couple of years, a lot of my painting is done plein air. These works are mainly finished in an outdoor painting session. It's always exciting to see what an immediate response to the landscape or built environment reveals.  I strive to have my personal style as a visual artist evolve uniquely and authentically.
